Setup Guide

1. Download Camlr

Camlr works on both phone and computer.

On your Phone

  • Android: Install from Google Play

  • iPhone: Install from the App Store

On your Computer

  • Windows: Download and install Camlr for PC

  • Mac: Install Camlr from the Mac App Store

2. Connect Phone & Computer

To get a stable 4K/8K video feed, make sure:

✔ Option 1 — Same Wi-Fi Network

  • Keep both phone and computer on the same Wi-Fi

  • Works instantly—no cables needed

3. Select Camera in OBS

  1. Open OBS Studio

  2. Click + → Video Capture Device

  3. Choose Camlr Camera from the device list

  4. Set Resolution to 4K / 8K (if your phone supports it)

  5. Resize and position the video in OBS

4. Adjust Camera Settings (Inside App)

Camlr offers pro-level camera controls:

  • Front/Back Camera switch

  • 4K/8K Resolution

  • Auto/Manual Focus

  • Exposure & ISO

  • Zoom

  • Image Stabilization

  • FPS options (30/60 depending on phone)

Use these controls to get crystal-clear video for streaming or recording.

5. Start Streaming

Once your camera feed appears in OBS:

  • Add microphone (if needed)

  • Add overlays, logos, or background

  • Click Start Streaming (or Start Recording)

Camlr will continuously send ultra-high quality video to OBS.

6. Tips for Best Quality

  • Use 5GHz Wi-Fi for smooth wireless video

  • Keep your phone on a tripod

  • Close background apps

  • Make sure your phone has enough battery / charging
